Policyholders residing in Texas, Louisiana, and Florida will have up to 90 days to resume premium payments on their life insurance policies.
SBLI recognizes the tremendous hardship and disruption caused by hurricanes Harvey and Irma on the lives of millions of families. In such difficult times, SBLI believes that families should not have to worry about their financial protection or paying life insurance premiums while focused on staying out of harm’s way and rebuilding what they may have lost.
Since being founded in 1907, SBLI has been devoted to the idea that every family deserves financial protection. “This payment moratorium is just another way for SBLI to live up to the ideals of compassion and kindness that SBLI founder Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis had in mind when he created SBLI of Massachusetts,” said CEO Jim Morgan.
Our hearts go out to those in the path of Harvey and Irma and the people working hard every day to rescue and help the residents who have been displaced.
